The Faculty Development Programme was organised on Saturday, 2nd March 2024 for teachers on the topic “Financial Literacy And Use of Digital Tools” in Vidya Pratishthan’s New Bal Vikas Mandir, Pimpli - Baramati. The Resource person for the session was Mr. Sanket Londe. Mr. Londe covered topics like Digital Banking, Retirement Planning , Different ways to increase our savings. He also briefed about different Insurance Policy, SIP , etc. The session was informative and it created an awareness among the teachers regarding financial planning.
Faculty Development Programme was organized for Pre-primary teachers of Vidya Pratishthan at Vidya Pratishthan's New English Medium School on 2nd June 2023. The Resource persons for these training were- Mrs. Joysey Joseph briefed about Competent and Effective Teachers,Ms. Trishula Salunke spoke about Understanding Child Psychology andMrs. Surekha Indalkar and Mrs. Mala Karande conducted Activity Based learning and Handling different types of learners.
Under In-House Faculty Development Programme a training workshop was organised for Primary and Secondary teachers on Saturday 3rd June, 2023 at Vidya Pratishthan's New English Medium School, Vidyanagari from 9.00am to 1.00 pm. Mrs.Soniya Lunawat, Mrs.Najma Pathan ,Mrs.Sarika Gandhi,Mrs.Darshana Andhare, Mrs.Rupali saware, Mrs.Chandani Aland, Mrs.Vasundhara Chavan, Mrs.Supriya Dhumal, Mrs.Preeti Hushangabade, Mrs.Deepali Vedpathak, Mrs.Shakila Mulani, and Mrs.Pallavi Kale attended the training workshop. Three topics, Conflict Management , Being a Responsible Teacher and Role of School in Child Development were covered in the session. The session on ”Conflict Management” was conducted by, Mrs Joysey Joseph, Principal VPNEMS.She explained about , What is Conflict Management , Hints for dealing with conflicts on one- to- one basis and Resolving Conflicts.
Mrs Radha Kore, Principal VPEMS conducted the session on “Being a Responsible Teacher”. She spoke on Responsibilities of a teacher, Use of appropriate teaching – learning strategy and Time management tips for teachers. Col. Shrish Kamboj, Registrar VP conducted the session on” Role of School in Child Development”. He emphasized on Understanding role of school, Development of skills, Academic potential, Social skills, Character building and self concept, Advantages of education, Teamwork, Socialization and Community.
In House Faculty Development Programme Training Workshop was organized for the English teachers of Vidya Pratishthan on Monday 5th June 2023 at VP’s NEMS, Vidyanagari, Baramati. 10 teachers from VP’s NBVM participated for the same. The Resource persons for the training were Mrs. Joysey Joseph – Principal VPNEMS, Mr. Sachin Pathak – Principal VPSEMS Mrs. Joysey Joseph clarified about Inclusive education and its benefits. She emphasized on the different language learning techniques such as Peer Collaboration, Think-Pair-Share, Clap-Back Technique, Multisensory Activities, Songs & chants, Vocabulary Picture Cards etc. She urged the teachers to register for ELTOC – English Language Teaching Online Conference in order to join Oxford Teachers Club. Mr. Sachin Pathak discussed about Functional Grammar. He drew the attention of the audience by articulating the various aspects of grammar like phonetics, pronunciation, Spoken English & Written English, Ambiguity, Common errors, Palindrome etc. In conclusion, the workshop was great and informative.
