Education world – India’s #1 education magazine and an affiliate of Parents World – in association with the highly-reputed Delhi-based market research and opinion polls company Centre for Forecasting and Research Pvt. Ltd ( C fore ) conducted its 11th annual survey to rate and rank the country’s Top 1,000 primary-secondaries in 14 categories including day boys, girls, co-ed and day-cum-boarding; legacy co-ed, boys and girls boarding, and international day, day-cum-boarding, and residential schools. A total of 12,367 parents, teachers, principals, educationists and senior students in 27 cities countrywide were interviewed over a period of four months by 127 field researchers of C fore to rate and rank 1,000 of country’s most well-known schools against 14 parameters of education excellence including teacher competence, academic reputation, co-curricular education, etc.

The two days 22nd & 23rd September, 2017 were the culmination of years of dedicated hard work & meticulous efforts of the staff of Vidya Pratishthan’s New Bal Vikas Mandir, Pimpli. Our shool received the prestigious ‘Certificate of Standing’ for Co-ed day schools by acquiring the 2nd position in Baramati in the annual Education World India School Rankings (EWISR) 2017. The grand event was held at The Leela Ambience, Gurgaon. Mrs. K.A. Barawkar, the Principal, received the award at the hands of Mr. Dilip Thakore, who is the Bangalore-based publisher & editor of Education World-The Human Development Magazine, Mr. Premchand Palety, the founder Chief Executive of C-fore, a multidisciplinary research organization & Mr. Sangram Surve – (Co-Founder and Chief Contagion Agent) of Enchantico – a Children’s Publishing House. Dr. Shuchi Grover, Senior Research Scientist at the SRI International Centre, USA delivered the keynote address on 22nd September, 2017 on ‘Computational thinking in K-12 Education: Vital 21st Century Competency.’ Considering the fact that, there are 1.50 million Schools & 3,20,000 private schools all over the country, featuring in the national Top 1000 scoreboard is an achievement per se. It is a matter of great pride. The survey is conducted by using 14 different parameters of education excellence such as teachers welfare & development, competence of faculty, Academic reputation, Co-curricular education, Sports education, Life skills education & conflict management, Individual attention to students, Leadership and management quality, Parental involvement, Infrastructure provision, Internationalism, Special needs education, Value for money, Community service.
